Engineer, photographer, filmmaker.
I’m a founding engineer at Survesy. I lead a team of engineers building out our core survey authoring experience, and set the technical direction for our AI products. This includes the algorithms we use for generating surveys, our evaluation harness, and the infrastructure which runs the product. I’m currently extending into full-stack work, building out the frontend for our AI interfaces.
Before my current role, I got my start as a graduate data engineer at Xero. From there, I worked on a wide range of problems across the organisation, from developing and serving their AI models, to building out the orchestration tools used to move all of the company’s data.
When I’m not working on code, I’m outside taking photos or making short films. You can find more of those on this website.
My current ambition is to step into the world of graphics programming. This is driven by my love for mathematics, optimisation, and software development. Through this I want to learn how to program directly with the GPU, and feed this back into training for bespoke AI models.
