I’m a founding engineer at Survesy. In practice that means I lead a small team and own the AI side of the product end to end: the algorithms that generate surveys, the eval rigour around them, and the infrastructure they run on. Backend and infra come with the territory.

Before that, four years at Xero across data applications, applied science, and data engineering. Before that, the University of Auckland: first class honours, engineering science.

Outside of work, landscape and macro photography on a Sony A7C. Won the student section of Doc Edge, 2017, for a short documentary about an ICU doctor.
